Our year would never be complete if there was not a Claxton Fruit Cake present at one time or another. I have given the one-pound size to many friends, and each person loved their Claxton Gift! Surprisingly, they would giggle! Absolutely, my favorite is the Supreme, but I would not turn any of the others down! Looking forward to the colorful, moistly decadent, and flavorful "Treat" that is a part of our Tradition during each Holiday Season and otherwise!

My mother gave me three Claxton fruit cakes in 2011 for Christmas as she knew how much I liked them. I have eaten many fruit cakes, but Claxton is the best. I wrapped them in foil and placed them in the freezer. Yesterday 11-2-2017 I came across them in the freezer. I took them out, after having been in the freezer for 6 years and thawed then. To my amazement, they tasted as good as if I had purchased them yesterday. I bet no other fruit cake can match that, so I called Claxton and spoke to Mr. Parker and told him of the six year-old Claxton Fruit Cakes. Thanks, Claxton!

Bought this for my 92 year-old father for Christmas. He's always loved Claxton Fruit Cake. In fact, back in the early 1970's on a camping trip to Florida, we made a special detour to visit the factory. I knew he had never had this "Supreme" version, so I had to get it for him. AND HE LOVED IT!!!
